Of course, for many, a stay at Sea Gull Lodge is all about the fishing. There truly is no better destination for the avid fisherman (or woman), with the Sturgeon River at the end of your dock, Lake Nipissing just three minutes away by boat and the French River within 16 km.

These bodies of water offer a bountiful supply of fish in a great variety, including muskie, northern pike, pickerel, black bass (small mouth) and pan fish.

If you're just beginning, not to worry. The camp offers all the necessary supplies and even live bait. The camp can also arrange for a guide to assist you, at a reasonable rate.

Also available is equipment to cook your catch on one of the many islands off the lake. The camp's convenience store also offers a great assortment of fishing tackle, and the camp boasts a deep freeze where fish are frozen free for guests.

Guests can bring their own boat or rent one by the day or the week. Sea Gull has 16 ft. and 18 ft. boats and outboard motors up to 25 HP. Our gas bar also offers gasoline mixed for outboard motors and regular gasoline for inboards.
