Sea Gull Lodge is four miles from downtown Sturgeon Falls, where those who don't care to fish or hunt can go shopping, take in a bingo, have a massage or reflexology session, enjoy fine dining and much more.Sea Gull Lodge in Northern Ontario on Lake Nipissing

Larger centers such as North Bay and Sudbury are also easily accessible, at less than an hour's drive.

Within view of the camp is the famous Sturgeon River House Museum, which houses a trappers' exhibit and displays highlighting the way of life of early settlers.

Adjacent to the museum are the Theodore Fouriezos Park and nature trails, a three-path boarded nature walk through a famous marshland which is home to countless bird species and unique flora and fauna. Ask about nature trail packages which can be arranged by Sea Gull Lodge.

A short walk away, Leisure Farms is a berry picker's paradise, with sweet strawberries in early June and raspberries in July, along with other seasonal delights such as fresh corn.
