No matter what the season, Pipestone Point Resort offers an exciting hunting and fishing retreat. In May we start out with fishing Lake Trout and Northerns. Walleye opens the third Saturday in May and Muskies open the third Saturday in June. Small mouth bass and Walleye can be found in July. At the end of July and early August, that's when we start out with trophy fishing. For trophy Muskie we use more bucktails early in the season. As we get into August and September we use more crank baits and jerk baits, which also appeal to the Northerns. Walleye fishing is challenging and exciting in the fall, but the true sport of trophy fishing comes alive with the one on one confrontation with the elusive muskie. From mid September to the end of October, Pipestone Point Resort offers hunting for Bear, Deer, Ducks, and Grouse. When hunting for ducks, Pete, with the help of his hovercraft can take you to normally inaccessible marsh land for hunting allowing better cover, seclusion, and a greater chance of success. Pipestone Point Resort is a vacation paradise with something for everyone. Honeymoons, father/son outings, friends getting together, or a family vacation. There is something for everyone.
