Come to the peaceful shores of Tomiko Lake where Okimot Lodge was established 60 years ago. We are located 40 miles north west of North Bay. Tomiko is a good sized lake with an average depth of 30 feet and fishing is great for walleye and smallmouth especially in the spring and late fall. Our 14' aluminum boats with up to date Johnson motors and padded swivel seats will also take you to two adjoining lakes. One is sheltered and provides excellent fishing for largemouth. Tomiko's north shore is almost completely unoccupied land ensuring minimal boat traffic.
The many logging trails around the lake invite you to explore the beauty of Northern Ontario by ATV or mountain bike. Wildlife and bird viewing is possible from existing tree stands.
Other activities like golfing, horse-back-riding, shopping or a visit to the museum are all available in the West Nipissing area.

Hunting
Bear hunting is one of our specialties and our bear management unit is extensive. Guests can hunt with rifle or bow from tree stands over an active bait. We offer moose and grouse hunting packages.
Winter Activities
Ice Fishing
Come to OKIMOT LODGE on Tomiko lake for the ultimate Ice Fishing experience. After a good nights rest in a cozy, fully equipped cottage with wood or Propane stove, you will enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake and its surroundings. Whether you fish for walleye, perch or pike just in front of your cottage or across the lake, you will have a heated ice fishing hut and drilled holes. The choice is yours, you can book our two or more nights package with or without meal plan. Transportation to and from the ice fishing hut is available. We sell fishing licences, day- week- or seasonal snowmobile trail permits, minnows, gas and oil. In the evening relax in our wood heated Sauna or play pool in the main lodge, where breakfasts and home cooked dinners are served. We supply bedding, but please bring your own towels.
Snowmobiling
Okimot Lodge's unique location on Tomiko Lake, with direct access to ''TOP D'' trail makes it the ideal place for snowmobiling. Shorter or longer trips to North Bay, Temagami, Temiskaming, the Sportsman's Lodge or around Lake Nipissing, you have the choice. Just book one of our packages with or without meal plan. We sell day- week- or seasonal snowmobile trail permits, gas and oil. Snowmobile rental on request. In the evening relax in our wood heated Sauna or play pool in the main lodge, where breakfasts and home cooked dinners are served. We supply bedding, but please bring your own towels. We are located 60 km north west of North Bay, 25 km north east of Sturgeon Falls.
Snow Shoeing
Explore Okimots surroundings with your snowshoes. You will find lots of tracks and maybe see some wildlife.
Skating
Don't forget your skates. Every year at the end of December/beginning of January we build a little ice rink in front of OKIMOT. Lots of fun for the kids and adults.
