Lost Lake Wilderness Lodge is a small lodge situated in the vast forest of Northern Ontario and is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of our natural resources. Guests enjoy conservation or catch and release fishing, interpretative trails, wildlife viewing, bird watching, flora and fauna and all that the living forest has to offer. Our philosophy is simple. Use but do not abuse the natural resources. We provide clean full facility private cottages in a gorgeous wilderness setting with all the opportunity to relax and enjoy the living forest. Lost Lake is between the towns of Elk Lake and Gowganda in Northern Ontario's eastern reaches. About a 6 1/2 hour drive north of Toronto. Up here the air is clean, the people friendly and best of all there's no traffic. The lodge and cottages are located along

the lake. With 10 lakes ready to be fished right from your doorstep, and

Hiking and exploring along interpretive marked trails is invigorating and
a great learning experience too. Visit deserted silver mines or

see our cottagefrom here!" Salt licks for moose along with bear feeding stations are maintained to enhance your photographic chances of capturing these magnificent wild animals. Wild berry picking draws pie lovers. Things to do are only limited by your own imagination. Of course, besides fishing the most popular thing to do is nothing but looking and listening……. Aaaaaah, Lost Lake! Other Things To Do Challenge your friends to a game of horseshoes. Nothing can compare to curling up in the front of a boat with a good book while the waves gently rock you into slumber land. Don’t worry about being rudely awakened by the maddening crowd because there isn’t any at Lost Lake. Although a large bass leaping into the air after a bug and splashing 2 feet away from the sleeping soul can be a bit of a rude awakening. Somehow up here it seems almost ok. Swimming happens off the large docks with the water
