SOME NOTES FROM YOUR HOSTS Where to reach us:
For your fishing, all you need to bring is your tackle; we supply minnow buckets and minnows, worm containers and worms, landing nets, life preserver cushions, area contour fishing map, fish finders, boat seats, canoes, camp stoves, skillets, lunch coolers and complete shore lunch kits. You might want to bring a thermos, cooler, rain gear, and a flashlight. Don't forget your camera.
We are not licensed under the Ontario Liquor Control Act. Therefore, we would advise that you purchase your requirements at any licensed store along your way, or let us know your requirements in advance and we will purchase and have it at the Lodge prior to your arrival. For everyone's safety, we request that wherever possible beverages be brought in non-glass containers. We maintain a small "Trail Store" for snacks and replacement tackle. Remember that fishing licenses are not available at the Lodge, so it is necessary that you purchase your license on your trip to Island 10.
On Saturday at Mawatts Landing you leave your car in a safe parking area, and gather to ferry at 9:00 AM or between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to the Island (other arrival times flexible).
