The setting for Island 10 is among pine-clad islands on beautiful Lady Evelyn Lake. A multitude of islands dot the waters and help create over 650 miles of shoreline. This immense amount of shoreline makes for great fishing in a very remote, secluded and noncommercial area. There are no roads to Lady Evelyn Lake. It is accessible only by boat or plane. As a result of our prime location, good fishing is just a short distance away and guides are not necessary.
As a result of our sheltered location there’s no need to cross any large, open bodies of water and thus one can experience good fishing even on those days when the weather refuses to cooperate.

When you arrive on Saturday at Mowatt's Landing, leave your car in Island 10's
parking area. You will then be ferried at 9:00am down the Montreal River, approximately 2 miles, in our comfortable river barge. A short 5 minute walk (we have transport vehicles should you require them) puts you on the Lady Evelyn Lake at the top of the Mattawapika Dam. Aboard one of our 22 ft. cabin cruisers, you will be ferried some 15 miles to our Island lodge. During the 1 1/2 hour trip from Mowatt's Landing, points of interest as well as prime fishing spots will be shown. Luggage is limited to 100 lbs. per person. After unloading at the landing, our 20ft. luggage boats will ferry your luggage to the Island. You need only carry your camera and sensitive equipment you may wish to bring.
The following Saturday after breakfast, you will be return ferried to Mowatt's landing by 9:00am to allow for your timely return trip home.
We hope that you’ll join us at Island 10 for your next fishing holiday!
