"...come away to some quiet place and
rest awhile..." Mark 6:31
Planning and Preparation
To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, we have
made a list of items you may want to bring with you. These apply to guests coming to Lake
Anjigami and to those flying in to any of the Outpost Camps. All of the camps are on the
Housekeeping Plan, where we supply the cooking and eating utensils, boats, motors and all needed fuel. But you will want to be sure to bring the
following:
food for your stay in camp
clothing for a variety of weather conditions
(including rain gear and warm clothing--remember even in the summer it can get cool up
here)
a pillow case for each person (pillows are furnished),
but you may wish to bring your own
a sleeping bag for each member of your party
(guests at the Main Lodge may opt for bed linens)
bath linens and beach towels; and
personal items, including flashlights, cameras, insect
repellent and, of course, fishing gear;
new Ontario regulations now require each person
in a boat to have an approved (U.S. or Canadian) personal floatation device, (life jacket)
in the boat or wearing it. Boat cushions, which we provide no longer are approved as
personal floatation devices. Please be sure to bring your
own life jacket.
