Red Lake is a fishing paradise and at Bow Narrows Camp you are
right in the midst of prime fishing territory. Start fishing
at the dock -- we're not kidding! -- and never go more than a
few miles away. Bow Narrows Camp is at the hub of a lake
system that includes deep water, shallow water, twisting
narrows, bays, islands, irregular shoreline, weedbeds, reefs,
beaches. Put it together and it spells FISH!
The camp's location is beautiful, not only for the scenery and
its close proximity to the best fishing spots, but also
because it is protected from the wind in any direction. You
can always go fishing, regardless of the weather.
Walleyes grow to enormous sizes in these waters. And so do
Northern Pike.
Other fish we catch are lake trout, whitefish, ling (also
called burbot. They taste like lobster.), perch, rock bass and
tulibee (a lake herring).
